Pipe, Tube, Angle, Channel & Flat Bar Rolling Machines
Large radius rolling of angle, channel, flat bar, and T-shapes is usually done on a pyramid style 3 roll bender. Tube and pipe can also be rolled but not to the small radius that can be repeatably done on a rotary mandrel draw bender using dies that match the tube/pipe size. Please remember that tube is measured at the outer diameter and pipe is measured at the inner diameter.

Pipe & Tube Bending:
Rotary Draw Benders have the advantage of being able to form a smaller radius than 3 roll pyramid type machines (show at the top of this webpage). Though both types of machines require different dies each size of pipe or tube, draw type machines require a different die set for each radius you are trying to form. 3 roll pyramid type machines can form many different radii as long as each radius is large but require more skill to repeat the same radius, which is why rotary draw type madrel style machines are great if you have to form multiple parts of the same radius.

Die sets are interchangeable on all RMD benders. All die sets are color coded for easy identification (green for pipe, blue for tube, and gray for square). Bend Material: Round or square tubing, pipe, flat stock, angle iron, or solid rod. Custom dies available Fast change over of dies without tools. Note that the dies for these machines are selected to fit the tube or pipe size AND the size of the desired Center Line Radius.
