| Edwards Hydraulic Ironworkers These American made machines are compact well designed, well built, uncomplicated iron workers and offer the biggest tonnage per dollar for your fabrication shop. They work on the same principal with the center pulling straight down on the work. All tooling moves vertically, with no arc of a pivot arm. Most models come standard with a punching station, flat bar shear, angle iron shear, and sometimes a coper-notcher. They operate so you can move from punch to plate shear to angle shear to notcher without always changing equipment. Many different sizes and styles of punch & die sets are available such as round, oblong slot, square, rectangle, keyhole, etc. Many kinds of optional tooling available (coper-notcher, press brake, pipe notcher, angle notcher, rod shear, gaging table, back gauge, and even radius notching). Scoll down to see. These machines are shipped ready to operate with hydraulic oil, and blades. All you have to do is connect the electricity. Optional 220 volts, single phase electrics available for most machines at $200 extra except 120 ton and 100 Deluxe. 440/480 volts costs $100 extra. Optional Pipe & Tube Bender Attachment available. H.M.I. Heavy Duty Ironworkers offer the most versatile press / punch of machines available today. The extra large throat depth, height and extra long stroke not found on most machines allows for a huge number of uses. The infinitely adjustable stroke from zero to 6", 8", or 11" depending on the model, makes it one of the most versatile machines available for using custom punching and forming dies. Press brake tooling up to 4 feet long can be used. These machines work great as an Ironworker and as a Hydraulic Shop Press. Models 4214
thru 15010 are dual operation with 1 foot pedal for punch and
1 hand lever for shear & notcher.
